How we helped them

The brief

The IT of Things is committed to maintaining the security of its clients’ information. To help protect this information, The IT of Things committed to implementing an Information Security Management System (ISMS) certified to the ISO/IEC 27001 international standard. Blueprint Information Security was asked to assist The IT of Things to implement the ISMS and obtain ISO 27001 certification.

The solution

Blueprint worked closely with The IT of Things to develop an ISMS customised to their specific environment. The focus was on developing a system that:

effectively managed information security risks
was compliant with ISO 27001
was able to be continuously monitored and improved
could be efficiently implemented and managed

Blueprint held workshops with stakeholders to explain the ISMS processes and develop ISMS artefacts that best fit the environment. Where possible, the ISMS was developed in line with existing business processes and documentation to ensure full integration and facilitate ongoing management.

Client feedback

Working toward ISO/IEC 27001:2022 certification was an important step in maturing our security practices, and Jake from Blueprint Information Security played a key role in making that possible.
