PageUp people is very much a client-centric organisation, committed to exceeding customer’s expectations. As a global Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) provider, this means delivering a service that is both highly secure and always available.
PageUp People engaged Blueprint to assist in the development of an Information Security Management System that would maintain and continually enhance the security of their online services. This involved the development of risk management tools, the assessment of security risks, the selection and implementation of effective security controls and the documentation of policies and procedures. PageUp People were audited in 2013 and successfully achieved certification to ISO 27001, the international standard for information security. ISO 27001 certification demonstrates the continued dedication of PageUp People to maintain internationally recognised security best practices.
Blueprint also worked with PageUp People to develop a comprehensive Business Continuity Plan. The development process involved assessing recovery strategies for time-sensitive business processes and identifying opportunities to enhance the resilience of operations. A detailed set of procedures were documented to ensure the continuation of services in a disaster scenario. The Business Continuity Plan was audited as part of the ISO 27001 certification process.
Blueprint’s advice and guidance was extremely helpful in our being able to interpret the ISO requirements into an effective yet workable Information Security Management System. This has resulted in us being able to assess and manage risk better in the business and has also provided our clients with the reassurance of an internationally recognised and independently verified ISO certification.
