How we helped them

The brief

Interactive is committed to protecting the confidentiality, integrity and availability of information entrusted to it by customers, staff and other parties. To achieve this, it is the policy of Interactive to establish and maintain an efficient and effective Information Security Management System that is planned, developed, communicated and integrated into all the functions of the company.

The solution

The Information Security Management System has been developed to meet the requirements of ISO 27001 (ISO/IEC 27001:2013), the international standard for information security. Regular audits are conducted by a third party to formally certify the system to the ISO 27001 standard.

An updated version of the ISO 27001 standard was released in late 2013. Blueprint Information Security was engaged to assist with the migration of Interactive’s Information Security Management System to the new standard. This process involved a comprehensive review of the system and the implementation of targeted enhancements to ensure that Interactive’s security controls and management processes continue to meet or exceed international best practice. Following the engagement, Interactive achieved certification to the new version of the ISO 27001 standard.
