Australian Government free security guidance

The Australian Government has released some free information security guidance and reports recently, including a National Cyber Threat Report that provides information about the threats Australian organisations face from cyber espionage, cyber attacks and cybercrime. It also contains mitigation and remediation information to assist organisations prevent and respond to the threats. This accompanies their highly regarded list of 35 strategies to limit targeted cyber intrusions.

In addition, the Department of Communications and the Arts has released a range of useful guidance information on their Stay Smart Online website as part of Stay Smart Online Week. They also provide a free email alert service which provides information about current online threats and how they can be managed.
